My mother always told me to try new things

So, recently I had been toying with the idea of starting a blog, and a friend of mine who began one to keep her family in the loop after a move, inspired me.  I am not sure how this will all work, but I am going to give it a try.  Please bear with me as I work out the kinks and learn how to use all of these gadgets.  And of course, let me know if any of my blogs are lame!  I had actually put together a whole "first episode", but forgot to save it before I checked out some other features.  Consider that a lesson learned.  As it is getting late and I am exhausted, I will attempt to re-post it in the morning.  So for now, I leave you with this less than exciting first try!  Be back soon...
